Elementary iPad Pilot Begins
Teaching Staff in the School District of the Menomonie Area grades 3-5 received 5 iPad Mini's at the start of the 2013-2014 school year. Thought I'd share this link to TWO WRITING TEACHERS. I know you probably have your routines in place for the year with Daily 5, but you might find this interesting. It is an article that uses the App Evernote in Writer's Workshop!

I also discovered a great free mathematical thinking app called "5 Dice." It is developed by a teacher named Justin Holladay. He also offers a course for teachers to create their own apps, at http://teachercreatedapps.com/.
